On the Agenda - Death risk rises for light sleepers

In a nutshell
People who sleep for less than six hours each night are 12 per cent more likely to die prematurely than those who get the recommended six to eight hours, according to research carried out by the University of Warwick and the Federico II University Medical School in Naples. The study provided evidence of the direct link between lack of sleep and an increased chance of dying prematurely.
